What we expect from you?

You should arrive at your placement on time, clean and tidy with your own knives, shoes and clean chef uniform, Black and white preferred but not essential. You should have identification with you, valid passport or driving Licence.

Never discuss rates of pay with any other Relief chefs, permanent or temporary members of staff. Mobile phones are turned off and the use of bad language is not permitted. Be 100% committed to the cause, work hard and smart, if you don’t understand something that is asked of you please be polite and ask for them to explain or show you how to get it right rather than to miss understand and create a problem. Remember your an Agency chef your mission is to impress so much so that the client asks for you personally on next assignment.

If the client asks for you to work again or you have been offered work elsewhere let Absolute Hospitality Recruitment know immediately. Be as flexible as possible and if you are in staff accommodation keep as clean and tidy as possible, don’t treat it like the local dos house, pub or holiday camp. Any salaries or travel expenses will be paid at the end of your placement, non completion of assignment will result in loss of travel expenses and that’s if the client pays travel expenses. Not all clients pay travelling expenses and this should be discussed directly with us the chef recruitment agency not the client.

All Agency chefs who are self employed shall produce proper invoices with company name NI number and UTR number, remember you are a professional relief chef and you are representing Absolute Hospitality Recruitment.
